KitchenAid 3-Burner. Home Depot The Bottom LineThe KitchenAid 3-burner is a classic gas grill with specifications similar to many of the better grills in this price range. Don't buy this grill because of the KitchenAid name. KitchenAid didn't design, manufacture, and doesn't support this grill. Aside from that, this isn't a bad grill for the price. KitchenAid plays no role in this grill and anyone buying it for the name stamped on the front is being deceived. This practice could be seen as deceptive and a violation of truth in advertising.Aside from that, this KitchenAid 3-Burner isn't necessarily a bad grill. The burners are 304 stainless steel and covered by a 10-year warranty. The heat output is good, not fantastic, but good enough for most grilling tasks. The design is good and it even comes with a side burner for those who will use it. The overall construction is lightweight and the stainless steel body parts are lower grade though most of the grill is painted steel, which will rust if scratched. There are better, more basic grills in this price range, but this product isn't a bad choice as long as it isn't being bought for the brand name on the lid. The KitchenAid 720-0891B is a reliable, midrange gas grill that generates a total of 26,000 Btu of heat across its two primary burners. It is an attractive grill for any backyard setting. The black-and-silver housing strikes a nice contrast, though it is more susceptible to rust than other grills’ housings.

Since the housing is made of a combination of high-end and lower-quality materials, like painted steel, it can rust if it is scratched – a killer of outdoor grills. Fortunately, this barbecue grill comes with a full cover you should use anytime the grill is not in use to protect it against the elements as well as from bumps and scrapes.

This grill’s overall performance is quite good. It preheated to 500 degrees Fahrenheit in less than seven minutes in our test, which is just slightly faster than average. It effectively cooks meat on its 332-square-inch primary cooking area using indirect heat. We fit 15 hamburger patties on the primary grilling surface, and the warming rack can fit up to five buns. It does a good job of cooking evenly. The stand only has room for the propane tank, and the grill’s side shelves can fold down to fit into a tight area, which is good for decks with limited space.

You can pay a little more to get extra accessories. For example, this propane grill has a natural gas option, with the kit sold separately. This is nice if you have a natural gas outlet to hook your grill to because it eliminates the need to run to the store to buy replacement propane tanks. Natural gas is also less expensive in the long run and better for the environment. You can also buy a rotisserie accessory separately.

The KitchenAid 720-0891B is a functional, midrange gas grill. It preheats in a reasonable amount of time and cooks food using direct and indirect heat with equal effectiveness like some of the best gas grills. You can purchase a natural gas hookup or rotisserie kit separately. It’s lightweight enough to wheel to any part of your yard, but you’ll want to keep it covered when it’s not in use to increase its longevity. Overall, it’s a nice-looking grill that also cooks well.

I have been ordering from BBQ Guys around 5 years – they have consistently provided wonderful service and the people on the phones have always been warm, friendly and patient – I mostly order online but every now and then you need a live person and these folks are the best – totally 5 STARS! Seda did great work explaining everything to us and helping us select just the right equipment at just the right price. He is a real credit to your business. Nickie 2016-01 View All I ordered an outdoor refrigerator and a Primo XL cooker from the BBQGuys online store. The prices were very competitive. I was pleased with the communications and prompt processing of the order. Both arrived via freight carrier. The firebox on the Primo cooker was broken. The customer service was great and the firebox was replaced quickly. I highly recommend BBQGuys. I will be shopping with them again. 2016-01 View All Completely happy with the products I have purchased through BBQGuys.
